Day 1
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to the Houseboat. Check in to the Houseboat. Evening enjoy Boat Ride (Shikara) on Lake & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Overnight in Srinagar.

After breakfast, proceed for Gulmarg. The valley of Gulmarg, a large meadow about 3-sq-kms in area, stands at 2,730 metres, 56-km south west of Srinagar. It means 'Meadow of Flowers' and in the spring, it's just that, a rolling meadow dotted with countless colourful Bluebells, Daisies, Forget Me Not's and Buttercups. Travellers can enjoy gondola ride from Gulmarg to Kungdoor (Phase 1): The first phase of the Gondola takes tourists to the height of 8530 ft to Kongdori Station. Kungdoor to Aparwath (Phase 2) The second stage of the Gondola goes up to the height of 12293 ft. (on own). Overnight in Gulmarg.

After breakfast transfer to Pahalgam. Enroute visit Mattan Temple & Awantipur Ruins - The 1oo-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Avantipur was founded by king Avantivarman. The site has two temples. The larger one, Shiva-Avantishvara, is marked by massive walls some half a mile beneath the town on the outskirts of village J aubror. The subsidiary shrines are to the rear corner of the courtyard. But the complex has, over the years, lost its grandeur & has been reduced to ruins, though it is still visited by the devout. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Pahalgam is one of the famous tourist attraction and a favorite place for shooting of Bollywood films & is still a health resort. Overnight in Pahalgam.

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi, Betaab Valley & Aru Valley. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine & deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. After your tour enjoy the evening at leisure. Enjoy a comfortable overnight in Pahalgam.

After breakfast, transfer to Sonmarg. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is also called as "The meadow of gold", as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahseer fish. Visit the Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Thajwas is famous for its golden meadows and trees of pines. You can go to Thajiwas by local cars, pony or by foot. Evening back to Srinagar for overnight.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Katra & check-in to the hotel. Overnight in Katra.

After breakfast, register and procure Yatra slip. Drop to Banganga and start your Yatra for Vaishno Devi Darshan (Bhavan is around 13 Km's from Katra Town and you can hire Ponies, Palkis or can cover the distance by Foot). Return to Katra for overnight.
